January 24th

The exercise is still really hard to motivate myself to do but I am noticing more and more the relaxed feeling afterwards. My body is warmed up and my BG is lowered and running more steady.

Temp basal decreased by 20% for 3hrs after lunch. I did that overnight last night for a few hrs too. Will look at dropping basal, still haven’t done it yet. Might email clinic for help.

Old basal settings- .25 midnight – 4am, .30units 4am-6pm, .25units 6pm-midnight.

Now- .20 midnight -4am, 4am-6pm .25, .20units 6pm-midnight

January 8th

Trying a little harder to have proper food and exercise balance. Doing a 30 Day movement challenge, today is Day 3. Aiming for 20-30mins of activity/movement everyday and hoping to improve muscle tone and overall stamina.

So Freestyle Libre will cost $57 out-of-pocket each time until I reach my deductible limit. That sucks. Am looking at Dexcom again as I believe it would all be covered under my health insurance. I really like the Libre but can’t claim it under my insurance.

January 31st

Lows this evening at work. 2.7mmol before supper (5pm-ish) and then 2.9mmol before I headed home at 7pm. Didn’t feel them coming- no sweating or shaking. Scares me when my body does that. Hate to think I’d have an issue that I would need help at work. I know I shouldn’t be embarrassed by possibly needing help but I would be.
